Enjoy the rich warmth of honey colors and experience a sense of being part of the hive in this wonderful tribute to honeybees. - Melissa is the latin name for bees and this image celebrates the wonder of bees in our world. This lovely red-haired goddess puts a human face on the queen bee deva of all bees, everywhere. She is surrounded by honeycomb and her favorite plant, Melissa officinalis (also known as lemon balm - a very healing herb for us too). Her message is a reminder to honor and protect the bees that are so essential to pollinating our crops and flowers. They are the most important helpers in producing so much of our food.
