Artist's Description
“Water is fluid, soft and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.” – Lau Tzu
Yemaya is the Goddess of the living Ocean (Yorùbá Orisha). Similar to the Celtic Danu, she is considered the mother of all life and the source of all waters. The rivers of Africa, especially the River Ogun, are particularly connected with her.
About Bernadette Wulf
Welcome to WulfWorks Visionary Art! - You can also view my art at http://wulfworks.net Here you can order high-quality fine art prints on thick archival paper or quality canvas, with excellent detail and color - framed or unframed. This quality lends itself to the mythical, mystical subject matter of my work, which offers a glimpse into the Otherworlds of angels, faeries, mythical beings, devas, and the very heart of Nature. I grew up wanting to be an artist, as if it was in my soul...
