Arianrhod spins the crystal castle of stars known as the Milky Way. She is often equated with the Greek Ariadne, the spinner goddess who spins our universe on her spindle. Arianrhod is a Welsh Virgin goddess who gave birth to two sons, Lleu and Dylan, after stepping over Math's wand in the story of Math from the Mabinogion.
